To access your network, users log into the portal with their username, password, and company. After authentication, they're presented with a page featuring all their digital resources - programs, shortcuts, recently used files, announcements, service messages, etc. Users click an icon, and the program or file will open; the experience is the same as it is with their computers today.
All application maintenance performed by CITOC is included at no additional cost. Depending on the specific application, maintenance can be a once-a-year task or a daily one. Tasks include updates, patches, log file examination, upgrades, testing, etc. For larger upgrades, we can establish a temporary test environment using exact or comparable hardware to test the upgrade before it touches your system.
All CITOC users have unlimited access to telephone and screen-sharing support from our support department. We will resolve problems, answer questions, and give technical advice. At any time, support personnel can provide shadow support. If granted, our support personal can take full remote control of the user's PC. Before a support technician may shadow a user's session or be granted control of a user's desktop, they must be given explicit permission by clicking the appropriate dialog box on their screen. A support tracking system is used to manage help desk operations. As support requests are submitted, each becomes a tracked case recording the user who made the request, time of request, nature, priority, resolution, etc.
