In November, IT Nation 2011 in Orlando proved to be a huge success with lots on the agenda including breakouts, speakers, fun and LOTS of opportunities to grow.
For starters, I learned about great future planning tools from one of the keynote speakers, Daniel Burris, a phenomenal forecaster and business strategist. As the founder and CEO of Burrus Research, he was credited with being the one and onlytechnology futurist to pinpoint the 20 technologies that would be the impetus for business and economic change for years to come. What an amazing speaker he was!
In addition to the wealth of information that Daniel Burrus provided us, we got to listen to a panel of speakers who taught us the right metrics to use for CEO pay, along with the pitfalls.
When it was all said and done, we got to see the Mondopad – TV, Video Conferencing and Presentation PC (with Windows 7) all in one. Imagine a wall-mounted iPad. If you’ve ever used the iPad and know its capabilities, you’ll have a pretty good idea of the features available in the Mondopad. We were so excited about it at the show, that we actually sold one right there … just from the excitement in my voice.
