While Windows 10 continues to roll out features, more and more of its exciting features are becoming known. Businesses are taking notice as news of the operating system’s new applications becomes public knowledge. Recently, Microsoft made a major announcement telling customers that the new operation system would be free for many of their current Windows users. If you’re running on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or Windows Phone, the new system could be free for you during its first year on the market.
There’s been a preview of the software available since Microsoft made their first announcement about back in the fall, though it’s been imperfect. Vice President of the Operating Systems Group, Joe Belfiore, recently showed off a number of the new features that will be available when Windows 10 is fully unveiled:
About 1.7 million people downloaded the Windows 10 developer preview, and Microsoft has reported receiving upwards of 800,000 individual pieces of feedback. All of this adds up to Microsoft preparing to release the most effective and business-ready operating software yet.
